Education & Training
I bring a combination of academic rigor and real-world insight to every coaching and consulting engagement. With advanced training spanning behavioral science, leadership development, and evidence-based coaching, I partner with individuals and organizations to create deep, lasting change.

My postgraduate education is a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Sociology, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Health. I have completed multiple ICF-approved coach training programs and coursework in Executive Coaching, and have supplemented this education with advanced training to administer state-of-the-art personality and leadership assessment tools (see below). This education and experience grounds my coaching in evidence-based approaches with a focus on individual growth and results.

Professional Experience
My path to coaching is not conventional but builds on experiences that make me an effective coach. I bring decades of systems-level leadership across academia, public health, the nonprofit sector, and private industry, giving me a rare ability to meet clients wherever they are. As a professor of Health Policy at the University of Florida, I directed research initiatives on women's health, child health policy, and healthcare access for more than fifteen years. Drawn to direct impact, I moved from academia to lead a multi-county health improvement program for the Florida Department of Health — trading research for real-world systems change. That same drive followed me to build a portfolio of leadership roles that span sectors and scales: Senior Consultant with Harder & Company, Executive Director of a Los Angeles homeless services partnership, COO of a for-profit business, and faculty teaching Transformational Leadership at Insight University.
Now I channel all of it — the research, the policy work, the organizational leadership, and the teaching — into my coaching and consulting practice. As a coach and consultant I get to do my most meaningful work: supporting individuals and leaders to grow and excel.
